Aurora, Hygienist

Aurora graduated from the University of Alberta dental hygiene program. She is a dedicated dental hygienist providing patients with quality dental hygiene care to maintain optimal oral health. Along with clinical practice, Aurora has worked with the Children’s Oral Health Initiative (a First Nations Health Authority program) and residential care. Her passion for learning has earned her a BHSc, a BA (Psych), and a MEd. Aurora enjoys travelling and has travelled domestically and internationally. She also enjoys sports and appreciates spending time with family and friends.

Cassie, Hygienist

Cassie was born and raised in Kamloops, moving to Prince George to attend the College of New Caledonia, Dental Hygiene program. She graduated in 2015 and began working at the Lillooet Dental Clinic. She grew to love the town of Lillooet and found she enjoyed the challenges of working in a small rural community. Getting to know her patients and their families continues to be one of her favorite parts of being a hygienist! She is passionate about individualized patient care and making each experience enjoyable and relaxing. In 2021, she and her family moved to Kamloops and she started with Seymour Dental.

In her free time, Cassie loves hanging out with her busy toddler and husband. They can often be found exploring outside near their home in Pinantan Lake or camping with friends and family.


Charlene, Receptionist, Dental Assistant, Office manager

Charlene is one of the first friendly faces greeting you at Seymour Dental Clinic.  She enjoys welcoming patients when they arrive at our office.   Her positive energy, and enthusiasm for the patients makes her amazing at helping patients feel comfortable for their appointment.

Her dental career first started in 1987 as a certified dental assistant with Seymour Dental Clinic. Her experience, knowledge, skills and passion for the dental profession have given her the diversity (opportunity) to work in many positions at our office over the years.  Charlene has recently started to assist Dr Bouwmeester in pain management. Last year she received training on migraine treatment with botox  in San Fransico with Dr Bouwmeester .  Charlene’s current position is that of administration /office manager.

Charlene enjoys spending time on her family’s farm or at Shuswap lake with family and friends, walking/ hiking  (with husband and dogs) and traveling.


Adrienne, Dental Assistant

Adrienne received her certification in dental assisting from the College of New Caledonia in 1989. She has been working as a dental assistant since then, but has taken a few small breaks to raise her daughters. Adrienne has extensive experience as a dental assistant having worked in general practice as well as in a periodontal practice. Adrienne joined Seymour dental center in 2010. She finds helping patients regain oral health and be happy with their smile very rewarding. Adrienne’s excellent clinical skills and her passion for dentistry comes through while working with each and every patient. She is a genuine caring and empathetic person - making every patients experience comfortable and pleasant. When not working, Adrienne enjoys reading, golfing, attending concerts and spending time with her family and dog.


Kaitlyn, Receptionist

Kaitlyn has lived in Kamloops for the last 11 years after moving from Oliver BC and can be found at the front desk, always enthusiastic to greet patients when they come in for dental care. She loves building positive and dynamic relationships with every patient. In between hitting home runs for her slo-pitch team, Kaitlyn enjoys farmers markets, true crime podcasts, camping and spending time with her corgi Cali. She is eager to experience all the positive changes that are happening at the office and enjoying the new office space.

Justine, Hygienist

Justine graduated from Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa in 2012. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist she worked as a certified dental assistant for 2 years. Justine started at Seymour Dental in January 2019 and she has become an amazing part of the team and has brought an enthusiasm for overall health and wellbeing to the office. Justine’s previous specialty experience (oral surgeons office and perio) add knowledge to our current team of health professionals. When Justine isn’t helping you improve your oral health you can often find her hiking the trails with her 100lb lap dog Reggie, hitting grand slams on the baseball diamonds or training for cross fit competitions.
